Olympus Announces New Extremely Compact OM-D E-M10, Calling It The OM-D For All
Olympus now adds a third camera to it’s OMD series, calling the new compact E-M10 “The OM-D for All”. Amazingly despite it being labelled as the most affordable in the OMD series, the camera doesn’t fall short of features. Below are the breakdown of the features:

- 81-point fast autofocus system
- 8 fps continuous shooting (unlimited JPG or 20 RAW frames)
- ISO expandable from 100 to 25,600
- Pop up flash with 1/250th sync
- 1.44M-dot EVF with 120fps refresh rate with 100% field of view
- 3-inch tilting 1.037M-dot touchscreen LCD

Weather sealing is not available on the E-M10, a missing feature which might be an important consideration for camera buyers. It will be available in March 2014 with initial street price of US$699.99 (~S$892) for body only. Along with the new E-M10 comes two new lenses and accessories:
- World’s slimmest 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens – only 0.9 inch thick with electric zoom capability
- New 25mm f/1.8 portrait lens
- Fisheye bodycap lens 18mm f/8 equivalent
- Ergonomic quick-release grip
- Macro converter
- Auto opening lens cap
