Thousands flock to Xiaomi Singapore website trying to get their hands on the latest Redmi Note this lunchtime hour and believe it or not, all 5,000 sets were sold out within seconds. Xiaomi has a record for selling out their smartphones and although this isn’t any surprise, selling out 5,000 sets in less than a minute might be their fastest sellout yet. The Redmi Note is Xiaomi’s latest smartphone with a bigger 5.5″ screen similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and at just $199 without plan, it is almost 5 times cheaper than Samsung’s.
Facebook users are taking their feedback on Xiaomi’s Singapore Facebook page, some claiming their website had issues while others show off their purchase confirmation page. If you were standing by to hit that Buy Now button this lunchtime, we sure hope you gotten yours.
