Pezzo’s new Durian King (Durian Charcoal Pizza)
You might have indulged yourselves with some yummy Mao Shan Wangs or Red Prawns this durian season but bet you haven’t gotten a taste of a pizza that’s inspired from the king of the fruits.
Popular local pizza chain Pezzo has surprised us with a new pizza named the Durian King, the handmade charcoal pizza topped with 100% pure durian flesh of top-grade Mao Shan Wang and D24.
The crust is made from imported European flour and active charcoal, which is the reason behind the dark-coloured crust.
The Durian King pizza will be available in limited quantities at all Pezzo outlets across Singapore, except Changi Airport Terminal 2 outlet, from 19 July till mid-August this year.
It will be priced at $5.90 per slice and $32.90 for a whole 14-inch pan.
