Without any notice given prior, Spanish frozen yoghurt brand llaollao has exited Singapore on 7 December 2017.
There are reports of the holding company behind the franchise here locally has terminated their contract with llaollao, without commenting on the reason. The company have since acquired rights to Yolé (pronounced as Yo-lay), another frozen yoghurt chain that hails from Spain as well.
They will be rebranding all 29 llaollao stores to Yolé from Saturday, 9 December and will be rolling out a new line of froyo desserts. Their offering looks vastly similar to llaollao’s menu, mostly froyo and smoothies with fruit toppings and syrup drizzles.
