Beer Ramen now a new thing in town, everybody stunned like vegetable

Chug one down at En Sushi

Real beer on the left vs Ramen Beer on the right

Foodies on the lookout for new things to try, this one should be on the top of your list.

Because lo and behold, it’s Beer Ramen.

Created by Japanese restaurant En Sushi that are known for their sushi and donburi dishes, the new Beer Ramen doesn’t actually contain any beer or alcohol.

The ‘beer’ inside the frosty pint of noodles is actually made with the restaurant’s chilled in-house broth, kind of like the dipping sauce for soba noodles.

What about that beer-like foam on top? Turns out it is sprayed with egg white foam, so protein-rich and healthy.

The chuggable noodles-in-a-beer-mug is served along with sides – crispy fried vegetable and tofu tempura.

Because otherwise, it will look strange with Beer Ramen all by itself.

The cold Beer Ramen, despite how it looks, is actually a perfect dish for the year-long hot summer weather in Singapore.

All that’s left to do now is jio your buddies along so you can #Cheers that #BeerRamen on Instagram.
