Got a movie you can’t wait to catch at a cinema near you? Hold your horses because you won’t want to miss out on this crazy offer from Cathay Cineplexes.

For a limited time (and limited redemptions), Cathay Cineplexes is offering 1-for-1 weekday tickets when you book from their mobile app!

Yes we know, for some strange reason, cinema apps in Singapore are a pain to use but Cathay Cineplexes has recently updated their app big time so give it a shot.

The 1-for-1 promotion is valid for all weekday tickets, including latest titles A Star is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, and more.

Totally worth it because inclusive of the booking fee, each ticket will only cost $5 with the promotion! That’s like ticket prices back in the 90s.

We even tried booking from the app ourselves and voila, it’s totally legit.

And like all good things in life, there are certain terms and conditions:

Promotion is valid from 9 November 2018 onwards, while stocks last.
Promotion is only valid for those who book and purchase using Cathay Cineplexes Mobile App after signing up/logging in.
Promotion is valid at all Cathay Cineplexes outlets.
Promotion is only valid with Mastercard’s Masterpass.
Promotion is on a while stocks last basis (after which the App will stop generating promo).
Booking fee of $1.50 applies for every transaction.
To collect your movie tickets before your movie, please proceed to the Box Office or self-service kiosk at any Cathay Cineplexes outlet.
Not valid with other offers, privileges, promotions or voucher redemptions.
Not valid for group/corporate bookings.
Not valid for 3D, Hindi, Tamil, Special-Priced tickets (Including Elite Club and Ultima Seats), Movie Marathon, Platinum Movie Suites tickets and Film Festival titles.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of Cathay Cineplexes is final. No correspondence will be entertained.
Cathay Cineplexes reserves the right to terminate, suspend or cancel (in whole or in part) this promotion.
