Earlier this year, they announced they will be offering free mobile plans for senior citizens in Singapore.
According to new reports, TPG Telecom will only be offering SIM-only mobile plans during their launch here.
The bigger news is that the plan comes with unlimited data, capped at 2GB daily, and unlimited mobile-to-mobile calls on phones that support Voice over LTE (VoLTE) such as iPhone 6 and above, OnePlus phones, and a number of Samsung Galaxy S series phones.
You can find if your phone supports VoLTE from this device list on Wikipedia.
Besides the unlimited phone calls and mobile data, TPG will also be giving away a year’s worth of free mobile service for the first 20,000 people who register their interest on their Singapore website here.
