New dual-currency EZ-Link x Touch ‘n Go card coming soon in 2019

Later this year, Singaporeans will be able to use a new dual currency card to simply touch and go at tolls or shopping in Malaysia.

The new collaboration between Singapore’s EZ-Link and Malaysia’s Touch ‘n Go and will offer convenience to r`oad users in both countries.

No Need to Switch Cards

The new cross-border combi card will allow Singaporeans to pay for causeway and highway tolls in Malaysia and vice versa Malaysian motorists to pay for ERP charges here without the need to switch cards.

Additionally, the new dual currency card will also users to pay for parking and contactless payments at participating retailers in both countries.

It is targeted to launch in the fourth quarter later in 2019 this year. Here’s a mockup of how the dual-currency card will look like.
