Virtual telco Circles.Life is finally responding to the competition.
Last month, Starhub launched a new SIM-only Giga service that offers 25GB data and 1,000 minutes talktime (with free incoming) for only $25 per month. M1 responded a few days later and consolidated their SIM-only plans, offering similar perks.
Unlimited Data for a year
Some of our readers have informed us Circles.Life has recently sent out emails to ex-subscribers, offering them free unlimited data for a year for only $18/month when they transfer back their number.
The email also comes with a promo code UNLIDKHG, although we are not sure if it is unique or there’s any redemption limit.
Update: The promo code no longer works. It is likely the redemption limit has reached or Circles.Life has removed the offer.
Here’s how it should look like when you enter the promo code during checkout.
Besides the $18/month unlimited data, Circles.Life is also waiving the SIM Card registration fee.
Despite the unlimited data perk, everything else remains the same. The plan will come with only 100 minutes of talktime, a far cry from Starhub Giga and M1’s 1,000 minutes and free incoming talktime.
Perfect for heavy data users
If you Netflix or YouTube on the go, Circles.Life latest promotion just might be the perfect plan for you and at just $18/month, it’s a steal.
For folks who still prefer to have a flexible plan with more talktime, you might want to look closer at the free incoming and outgoing minutes.
Announcing soon, perhaps?
Presumably, Circles.Life is figuring out if the new perks are attractive enough to win back ex-subscribers and if they do, it is likely the virtual telco them available to all users soon.
