Ichiran Ramen will have a pop-up stall in Takashimaya’s Japan Food Matsuri happening from October 3 – 20

Ichiran Ramen coming to Singapore this October

Good news for Japanese ramen lovers – Ichiran Ramen is coming to Singapore this October.

The famous Fukuoka-based ramen chain is known for serving bowls of piping hot and delicious ramen in booths behind curtains so that diners will place 100% attention when enjoying their ramen without distraction.

Something like this.

Japan Food Matsuri

Ichiran Ramen will be making an appearance at Japan Food Matsuri 2019, the massive Japanese food festival event held in Takashimaya Square later next month from 3 – 20 October.

Last year, it was filled with lots of authentic Japanese food.

There’s a huge Food Festival at Takashimaya filled with lots of authentic Japanese goodies happening right now

Slurp.

Ramen Revolution

Japan Food Matsuri will also be hosting Ramen Revolution (previously held in RWS) this year, an event where top Japanese ramen restaurants are invited to participate.

According to TODAYonline, the Ichiran pop-up stall will also feature its signature private booths so that visitors can enjoy their ramen in peaceful solitude.

New York Limited instant ramen

However, don’t expect it taste exactly the same as the original ramen bars in Japan – Ichiran’s Singapore pop-up stall will only serve bowls cooked with the New York Limited instant ramen instead of fresh noodles.

There will only be 700 portions available daily which will be cooked on-site and served with wood ear mushrooms and green onions (sadly, without chashu slices).

We will bring you more updates on Japan Food Matsuri 2019 when they become available.
