Alcoholic Xiao Long Bao? Bet you can’t wait to try them.
Just when we thought Xiao Long Bao (小笼包) can’t get any more creative, Paradise Dynasty is telling us otherwise.
Believe it or not, alcohol-infused Xiao Long Baos will soon be a thing in Singapore.

Exclusively available at Paradise Dynasty Funan, the new dish looks like they were inspired by colours from Power Rangers suits when revealed.
Upon closer inspection, they are likely based on the colours from the wine and spirits bottles that are standing behind the dim sum basket in the photo.
Here’s a closer look.
Each basket comes with 5 dumplings and they are infused with:
- Shaoxing Wine (绍兴酒)
- Red Wine
- Tsingtao Beer (青岛啤酒)
- Glenlivet Scotch Whisky
- Martell Cognac VSOP
The new alcoholic dumplings will be available at the Funan outlet from 10 Dec. However, Paradise Dynasty has yet to reveal the prices on them.
