Famous Fukuoka ramen Kanada-Ya to open at PLQ Mall on Dec 13, offers 100% Cash Rebate on your first bill

From Keirin racer to ramen master

Kanada-Ya opening at PLQ Mall this week

Another famous ramen bar from Fukuoka, Japan is opening its first outlet in Singapore.

Kanada-Ya, named after the owner Kanada-san, was born after turning from a Keirin racer (legal bike racing in Japan) with over 100 injuries during his biking career to a ramen master.

The ramen bar has since been rated one of the best out of 40,000 in 2010 and expanded to the UK and Hong Kong.

Long queues in London

The ramen bar quickly drew long queues from ramen lovers after learning about it.

18-hour Pork Bone Broth

Kanada-Ya’s ramen is known for its broth which is made by simmering pork bones for over 18 hours.

Other key ingredients that made the bowl exceptionally tasty is a secret sauce, nori, hand-pulled noodles, wood ear fungus and spring onions.

Here are some photos of the ramen IRL from Instagrammers visiting Kanada-Ya in London.

They also offer meat-free vegetable ramen options, although we are not sure it will be available here.

100% Cash Rebate Opening Promotion

Kanada-Ya will be opening their first outlet here at PLQ Mall (Paya Lebar Quarter) this week.

In celebration of the opening, they are offering 100% cash rebate promotion via the Kanada-Ya app on your first bill when you dine in from 13 – 15 December (Fri – Sun).
