Japan discount store Daiso makes a comeback to Vivocity
Back in February 2018, Daiso Japan closed its store in Vivocity to make way for Libary@HarbourFront.
It broke the hearts of Daiso fans in Singapore, especially after seeing the closure notice.
The discount megastore went on to open a new outlet at 100AM mall located in the heart of Tanjong Pagar.

It’s coming back
Turns out Daiso still wants a store in Vivocity, so much so they have actually gotten a new unit just a level below the library in the mall.

It will be located next to Australia-based clothing retailer Cotton On at level 2.
While the renovation panels are saying they will be opening in January this month, we actually found out the exact date will be on 15 January (Wednesday) later this week.
Now fans staying or working near Vivocity can once again enjoy $2 shopping spree at the mall.
