R&B Tea outlet in Thomson Plaza still open despite new Circuit Breaker measures
The Singapore government has recently extended the Circuit Breaker restrictions, causing some business and services including bubble tea shops to shut down for a month till June.
Upon the announcement, bubble tea fans scrambled to place orders on their favourite bubble tea with food delivery services, some even made their way down to the stores.
Foodcourt Loophole?
One such bubble tea outlet in Thomson Plaza, however, wasn’t affected. Turns out the store is located inside Koufu foodcourt and since foodcourts are considered as essential services, they are spared from the new orders.

You can find the store at level 1 of the mall, which is also next to the travelator that goes to the basement carpark.
