Tourist numbers around the world have dropped to an all-time low no thanks to the COVID-19 virus outbreak and it’s no different in one of the most travelled countries in the world – Japan.
Sakura Nara Park
On a normal day, Nara Park looks like this.
However, the popular park known for its bowing deers and lush landscapes is literally covered in cherry blossoms earlier in April, undisturbed too since there aren’t many tourists there these days.
A photography studio’s Twitter account @KikiPhotoWorks captured this dreamy video while visiting the park last month.

Nara’s sakura season expected to make landfall in March according to forecasts but it is likely a little late this year.
Even the deers there are covered in Sakura petals.
It’s also a good time for wedding photography.
So nice.
Now you know when’s the best time to visit Nara Park on your next trip to Japan once this virus has blown past.
