Good news for devotees who often make a trip down to the famous Guanyin temple along Waterloo Street.
The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple (四马路观音庙) has put up an announcement notice stating they will reopen from 27 July (Mon) onwards.
Here’s the notice spotted by a netizen.
In the first phase of reopening, the temple will only open to the public from Mon – Thur between 27 July and 6 August. The temple will remain close on weekends.
For visits for the period from 7 – 9 August, admission will be by ticket only and visitors will need to apply for tickets by sending an email to the following email addresses:
Details on opening days and operating hours from 10 August onwards will be advised again in due course, according to the temple management.
