Long John Silver’s launches new local-inspired chicken rice and sambal fish dishes
Believe it or not, chicken rice is now a thing at Long John Silver’s restaurants in Singapore.

Launched in celebration of National Day and inspired by local flavours, the popular seafood fast-food chain Long John Silver’s has just launched their own version of Chicken Rice.
Called the LJS Chicken Rice, it comes with 2pc battered chicken and even has the chilli sauce, ginger sauce, and Nonya-style achar on the side.
Besides chicken rice, there’s also the Sambal Grilled Dory and as the name suggests, has a slice of grilled dory topped with sambal sauce, onions, fried shallots and spring onions.
Available after breakfast hours, the LJS Chicken Rice is priced at $7.30 while the Sambal Grilled Dory at $8.90. Both dishes come with a drink (Coca-cola or Sprite).
