Ya Kun’s limited edition Kaya Toast Gelato now available at more outlets

Aside from Kaya toasts and coffee, you probably didn’t know Ya Kun also made their own ice cream.

Kaya Toast Gelato

The limited-edition Kaya Toast Gelato is so exclusive that Ya Kun only made it available at their outlet in SAFRA Toa Payoh when it launched earlier this year.

Which explains why nobody knows about the gelato’s existence.

More outlets

Luckily for us, Ya Kun has decided to make more of them available at 2 more outlets at Compass One and Jurong Point.

Yay.

According to Ya Kun, the Kaya Toast Gelato is made using pure gelato and 100% dairy and contains no preservatives or artificial colours. In case you have no idea what gelato means, it’s a frozen dessert generally made with a base of 3.25% milk and sugar.

It’s also less fat than regular ice cream, perfect for those watching their diet.

Here’s how the Ya Kun’s gelato looks like IRL.

It is priced at $3.80 per cup and according to comments on Instagram, the gelato isn’t too sweet although some say it tastes more Kaya than toast.
