Known for its delicious and crispy octopus balls, Japan’s no.1 takoyaki chain Gindaco has recently returned to Singapore, opening their first outlet in JCube a year ago.
If going to the west is out of the way, you will be glad to know that Gindaco is back at ION Orchard in Food Opera foodcourt once again, reminding us of the long queues when it first appeared in Singapore more than 10 years ago.
Originating from Osaka in Japan, takoyaki balls are usually placed in a boat-shaped paper plate, brushed with takoyaki sauce and mayonnaise, and then sprinkled with green laver and dried bonito shavings.
Yummy.
This Singapore Instagrammer has good things to say about Gindaco’s return to ION Orchard.
Besides takoyaki balls, Gindaco Singapore also has Yakisoba and Okonomiyaki dishes.
Here’s their menu.
Now you’ve got an excuse to go shopping in Orchard Road.
