Get yourself a cherry blossom bonsai so you won’t miss Japan this year
There’s a way to bring real sakura into your homes if you dread not being able to travel to Japan to catch the cherry blossom season this year.
Kyoto Cherry Blossom Bonsai
That’s right – you can now buy real cherry blossom bonsai trees from two selected Don Don Donki stores in Singapore at Orchard Central and HarbourFront Centre.
They are sold by Omuro Singapore, a local retailer that specialises in bonsai and interior products imported from Kyoto, Japan. When they are not cultivating bonsai trees, you can find their sale events in Isetan and Takashimaya.
While they come with a hefty price tag from $450 per pot, it’s still comparatively more affordable than the ticket prices to Japan.
