You probably won’t find mangosteens cheaper than this price
Looking for bargains for fruits in Yishun? Sheng Siong is running a fruit sale with ridiculous prices you probably have a hard time believing your eyes.
The fruit sale is happening at the supermarket outlet in Yishun Junction 9 and is spotted by a Facebook netizen by the name of Yan Mei earlier this week.
Thailand Mangosteen
Durian and mangosteen seasons are said to ripen during the same period of the year. The overabundance of mangosteens in Thailand means you get to buy them at just $0.05 per 100g at Sheng Siong now.
According to Yan Mei, there’s still a large number of stocks available even after a few days the sale has gone up.
Definitely worth it.
China Rainbow Mangoes
Besides mangosteens, there are also Rainbow Mangoes at $2.99 for 5 pieces.
That means you pay only around $0.60 per piece.
They look pretty good too.
Thailand Rambutan
Likely from the same supplier of the Thailand mangosteen, these rambutan bunches are going at just $0.18 per 100g.
Cheap fruits indeed.
While it is stated the fruit sale is only available at this store, you might want to try checking a Sheng Siong outlet near your place of residence for the same sale if Yishun is out of the way.
The Sheng Siong outlet in Yishun Junction 9 opens from 7am till late at 11pm daily.
