Old Chang Kee’s steamed Chicken Curry Bao now available in Change Alley Mall’s outlet
Believe it or not, Old Chang Kee actually sells a steamed version of their famous curry puffs.
Called the Curry Chicken Bao, the quirky creation which first appeared in Old Chang Kee’s Coffee House outlet in Tanjong Pagar has made its way to the basement outlet in Change Alley Mall after popular demand from fans.
The steamed curry bun comes in the shape of the shop’s signature curry puff pastry shell, a somewhat healthier option for those who prefer non-fried food or are on a diet.
You will find the familiar tasty curry puff fillings of chicken meat, potato and egg.
The buns are freshly steamed daily.
Confirm must try if you happen to be working or shopping in the area.
The Curry Chicken Bao is priced at $1.60 each or $3 for 2 buns, while stocks last.
If going to the CBD area is out of the way, you might want to wait a while since Old Chang Kee has hinted it will likely be available at more outlets soon.
