Legendary Hong Kong ventures out of the west, opens its first branch in Funan
Known for serving authentic HK dim sum and popular street food from the country, Legendary Hong Kong is a famous eatery helmed by established chefs from Hong Kong located in Jurong Point that attracts long queues during weekends.
Now open in Funan
The original restaurant opened in Jurong Point back in 2014 and almost a decade later, their first-ever branch out of the western heartland has just opened in Funan.
Some of their popular dishes include roast duck, egg tarts, sandwiches, rice rolls, congee, fried noodles, and a variety of dim sum items.
In their Jurong Point outlet, they also have a separate cart noodles section which offers a quick snack or takeaway meals.
Smaller outlet
Legendary Hong Kong Restaurant’s new outlet, however, is a lot smaller than the Jurong Point and offers a smaller variety of dishes on the menu.
It is similarly styled as the original restaurant which features a nostalgic blast from the past look decorated with vintage goods such as beer crates, radio, box television and switches.
Which is perfect for working folks looking for a quick bite or snack on the go.
Dishes include dry/soup noodles with options of additional toppings and sauces, as well as the restaurant popular snacks such as HK Style Hamburger, Pineapple Buns, and French Toasts.
Posters on the wall also offer patrons a glimpse into what’s available in the store.

It’s no doubt a far cry from the long list of dishes offered in the original Legendary Hong Kong in Jurong, but perhaps still decent for fans and Hong Kong food lovers looking to satisfy their craving while in town.
