Tiong Bahru Bakery opens in Waterway Point, operates from 7.30am daily and serves exclusive hot dishes

Has new croissant and waffle dishes

Good news for Punggolians – there’s no need to travel far to enjoy your favourite croissants and pastries from Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) now.

Tiong Bahru Bakery Waterway Point

That’s right, Tiong Bahru Bakery’s 11th and latest outlet is now open in Waterway Point, the major shopping mall that’s conveniently located beside Punggol MRT Station.

It takes over the space formerly occupied by Cedele Bakery Kitchen, which has since moved to another location in the same mall at #01-17.

TBB Waterway Point opens as early as 7.30am in the morning, which means customers can enjoy their favourite pastries and coffee before heading to work.

Besides their signature croissants, there will also be hot menu items served exclusively at the new Punggol outlet including the new Croffle which is a cross between croissant and waffle.

Here’s a quick look at what’s available.

Breakfast Croffle ($22)

The Breakfast Croffle is an elevated all-day brekkie topped with crunchy streaky bacon, roasted portobello mushroom, and runny fried egg, with a cool, herby ranch herb sauce.

Pull My Pork Croffle ($22)

For a hearty bite, the Pull My Pork Croffle topped with juicy cajun spiced pulled pork, crushed avocado, sour cream, and pickled jalapenos.

Dessert Croffle ($14)

For the sweet-tooth, opt for the Dessert Croffle served with a creamy vanilla bean ice cream that’s sandwiched between the crisp buttery croissant waffle topped with house-made chocolate sauce.

Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese ($20)

For sourdough fans, one can also savour a scrumptious Truffle Mushroom Grilled Cheese, made with fresh Sourdough Rosemary Focaccia, sandwiched with aromatic truffle and onion mushroom medley, manchego cheese and toasted to cheese-pull perfection.

Crispy Chicken Burger ($22)

Another must-try is the Crispy Chicken Burger featuring a juicy chicken thigh that’s fried to golden perfection, layered with a creamy Gochujang sauce that packs a hit of spice, and topped with tangy pickled cucumbers, all held together by fluffy burger buns.

Egg Soldiers ($12)

Instead of the shelled soft-boiled eggs and thinly sliced toast, diners can enjoy two perfectly sous vide creamy eggs with a basket of the bakery’s famous Sourdough bread made from a 160-year-old starter. Guests can even flavour their eggs with soy sauce-based drip for that quintessential Asian flair.

Quinoa Salad ($18)

Diners craving for something fresh can order a bowl of Quinoa Salad ($18) packed with sweet watermelons, almonds, feta cheese, juicy tomatoes and pomegranate topped off with herbs and pickled onion, tossed in fresh coriander and mint dressing.

Yummy.

Do note that the hot food menu will be available from 10am onwards till closing.
