Travelling too pricey for now? Reward yourself with a staycation at this new hotel in town instead while waiting for airfares to return to reasonable rates.
Inspired by Singapore’s colonial past, the new Citadines Connect City Centre hotel that sits on the former site of the Rediffusion building from 1949 – 2012 along Clemenceau Ave features a contemporary retro design.
Before Rediffusion, the site used to belong to Singapore’s main rail terminus from 1903 – 1932, which explains the hotel architecture that exudes the charm of train travel from iconic train station arches, and railway track-like ceilings to platform labels at the lift lobby.
Hotel guests with recreational pursuits will be able to find a rooftop pool, 24-hour fitness room and aqua gym in the hotel. There’s also a rooftop bar and restaurant that serves local and international culinary creations or visit the Michelin-awarded Cafe Natsu located a the hotel lobby.
Citadines Connect is also the first and only hotel designed with lofts in the Orchard Road precinct.
