A new Japanese unagi fast-food restaurant is coming to S’pore this month
Japanese food and unagi lovers, there’s a new eatery to try in town soon.
Unatoto Japan
Known for its affordable unagi rice bowls and dishes, Unatoto is the only fast-food unagi restaurant in Japan that offers cheap, fast and tasty unagi.
Unatoto currently has over 100 outlets across Japan and Southeast Asia.
Here’s how their signature and bestselling Unadon Double dish looks like.
The unagi is charcoal-grilled to perfection.
Looks yummy indeed.
According to Unatoto, while unagi dishes are generally expensive, they offer them at affordable prices and have mastered cooking and serving them quickly to diners.
They also have unagi rice served with additional toppings such as okra, onsen egg and more. Besides unagi mains, the restaurant will serve sides such as tempura and Umaki (eel-filled rolled omelette).
Opening soon
Unatoto Singapore’s first outlet here will be located at the heart of Tanjong Pagar in basement 1 of Guoco Tower.

The restaurant is slated to open on 25 January (Wed) later this month.
According to their official IG account, they will likely have a 1-for-1 promotion on opening day so stay tuned for more updates. We will update this page once the details are available.
