Last chance to visit The Doraemon Exhibition before it ends in early February
The beloved Doraemon Exhibition from Japan will be coming to an end soon, here’s a chance for fans to bring home an exclusive collectible in a special ticket bundle available online.
Doraemon CNY Uchiwa Fan
Available while stocks last, you can now purchase a ticket bundle that comes with a Standard Admission Ticket and a Doraemon-themed Uchiwa Fan for $40 when booking from travel and activity platform Klook online.
Here’s a closer look at the special collectible.
In the past, Uchiwa fans are brought to the Japanese courts as gifts from the Chinese and Korean courts and only the nobility were allowed to use them. They are traditionally made using bamboo and paper and are commonly used in ceremonies as well as in hiding faces in public.
The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore is the first of its kind outside Japan and will be held in the National Museum till 5 February early next month.
It features a selection of contemporary artworks that reinterprets Doraemon in our changing world and showcases its cultural impact on contemporary history. The works will be presented together with original drawings from legendary manga artist, Fujiko F Fujio.

Fans will also be able to purchase exclusive Doraemon merchandises at the exhibition.
Fans can take a break and enjoy Doraemon-inspired treats such as Dorayaki with sweet azuki bean filling at the Doraemon Cafe.
Upon purchase of the ticket bundle, you will be able to visit the Doraemon Exhibition anytime during the validity period.
Some important things to take note of:
- Ticket is inclusive of an Uchiwa Fan (CNY Limited Edition) per ticket holder.
- Redemption at Doraemon ticket counter upon entry. Redemption of Uchiwa Fan must be done on the same day of visit.
- Children aged 5 and below can enter free of charge. Please note that free entry is subject to checks at the entrance. Birth certificate for verification may be required.
- No cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made.
