Ramen lovers are in for a treat this weekend, especially if you love having ramen with an extra bowl of rice.
The latest Japanese ramen trend has arrived in Singapore, brought in by mazesoba chain Menya Kokoro.
Originating from Yokohama, Japan, the Iekei style combines both tonkotsu and shoyu resulting in a thick and flavourful broth. Additionally, Iekei Ramen is served with a bowl of rice to enjoy with the rich broth.

In line with the launch this weekend, Menya Kokoro will be offering a 1-for-1 promotion on the Yokohama Iekei Ramen on 4 & 5 February (Sat & Sun) at its 100AM outlet.
Iekei ramen is priced at $15.80 for the regular size and $17.80 for a large bowl, which means you pay as little as $7.90 per bowl with the promotion.

The promotion is available all day during the operating hours with last order at 8pm.
Besides Iekei Ramen, Menya Kokoro will also be launching a new Lava Ramen which features a mountain of beef slices, topped with oozy onsen egg.
Its umami miso broth crafted from scratch using a medley of ingredients including crunchy beansprouts, chives and seaweed sprinkled with chili powder, Japanese sansho pepper, a drizzle of chili oil and black garlic oil.
