New Skate & Parkour Park
Located in the western section of Jurong Lake Gardens, the 53-hectare Lakeside Garden is centred around the themes of nature, play and community.
NParks has just announced the redevelopment completion and has opened a new active zone which includes a Skate Park, Parkour Park and Bouldering Wall.
The Skate Park is Singapore’s largest and consists of 5 skate pods catering to different skills level, including a sheltered pod for all-weather use.
Adrenaline lovers can try out their parkour skills at the new Parkour Park which is filled with a variety of railings, beams and hanging equipment.
There’s also a bouldering wall to challenge beginners and climbing enthusiasts.
Visitors who wish to take it slow can check out the Lakeside Green which is perfect for sitting back and taking in the panoramic views of the lake.
Take a stroll along the water’s edge and you might get lucky in spotting freshwater wildlife such as the Striated Heron or Crimson Dropwing.
Lakeside Garden is conveniently located beside Lakeside MRT station. For those who are driving, the nearest carpark is North Carpark, opposite Tah Ching Road. Turn in at Chinese Garden Road.
