Good news for McFlurry (or Hash Brown) lovers – McDonald’s Singapore is actually paying attention to viral stuff on social media.

In case you can’t grasp what’s going on, a TikTok video clip from @kellyarvan_ in Australia caught the attention of netizens around the world after she made a sandwich hack using McDonald’s Hash Browns and filling it with Oreo McFlurry soft serve.

As strange as it sounds (or quite possibly tastes), turns out a lot of foodies are actually interested to try it out themselves. The video has since gone viral with over 6 million views at the time of this writing.

Hack yeah

So much so McDonald’s Singapore decided to bring this viral food hack to our shores and will be giving away 2 x Hash Browns and 1 x Oreo McFlurry for free on 9 June (Fri) from 9am to 11am.

The giveaway, however, is only available at McDonald’s NTU and McDonald’s Temasek Poly outlets, which makes sense since that’s likely the kind of daredevil demographics who will most likely want to get a taste of the hack.

It’s also likely McDonald’s will be giving the food items separately which means you could enjoy it as it is and not try the hack at all. Definitely worth it if you happen to be in the area.

One more thing – it’s also limited to the first 50 redemptions per location so you might want to set your alarm for it.
