Opening soon: Buangkok Hawker Centre will have over 30 stalls and 550 seats when opened
Good news for residents in Sengkang and Buangkok – a new hawker centre will be opening in a couple of months’ time.

Located in the newly opened Sengkang Grand Mall, Buangkok Hawker Centre will officially open in November later this year.
The news was revealed on Buangkok Hawker Centre’s website with the hawker centre likely being managed by Fei Siong Group.
For the uninitiated, Fei Siong Group is also the same homegrown food service company that operates F&B chains such as Let’s Eat!, Hong Kong Egglet, Nam Kee Pau, Popeyes and many more.
This isn’t Fei Siong’s first stint in managing a hawker centre – Ci Yuan Hawker Centre is managed by Fei Siong Social Enterprise, the social enterprise subsidiary of Fei Siong Group.
A signage at the hawker centre’s entrance also reveals they will be opening in the third quarter of this year.
According to the company, Buangkok Hawker Centre will offer 38 stalls and more than 550 seats when fully opened.
A recent social media post asked the public who is interested in being a hawker to register through an online form. It is past the closing date but it’s not clear if all the stalls had been taken up.
