Mid-Autumn is upon us and Gardens by the Bay is welcoming the celebrations with lanterns and family-friendly activities.
Lantern Displays
From now till 1 October, head down to Gardens by the Bay and marvel at lots of colourful giant lanterns inspired by Chinese mythology, legends and culture depicting reunion, fate and affinity.
There’s no better time to capture memories as you and your friends and family wander along the picturesque paths in Supertree Grove.
Here’s a quick peek at the installations.
Garden of Blooms (in Golden Garden)
Step inside the Garden of Blooms and discover a secret garden beyond the beautiful moon gate, featuring flora of great significance to Chinese culture, including the lotus, peach blossom, and bamboo.
Magpie Bridge (in Dragonfly Lake)
Inspired by the Chinese mythological tale of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, this display showcases a flock of magpies forming a bridge with their wings to reunite the lovers.
Pavilion (in Supertree Grove)
The Pavilion is one of the classic features of a Chinese garden and has a distinctive architecture style that offers a panoramic vantage point to view the scenery and a focal point within the garden setting.
Our Secret Garden (in Supertree Grove)
Step into a Secret Garden filled with whimsical creatures, created by five students from ART:DIS Digital Art programme. Discover the artistic talents of these autistic artists and learn more about their design inspirations behind these creatures!
