Daiso set to bring affordable Japanese goods to shoppers in Woodlands as early as next month
Good news for residents in Woodlands, Japan’s famous dollar store is coming to a mall near the MRT station.

According to a photo from an anonymous Facebook member, Daiso Singapore will soon be opening its latest outlet in Woodlands Civic Centre.
It will be the chain’s fifth store in the north.
The new store takes over the level 2 units formerly occupied by Jack’s Place and Yeh Ting Hainan Cuisine restaurants.
Here are photos of the restaurants before they closed down.
Both restaurants announced their closure earlier in January this year.
While there’s no indication of the exact size, it is likely the new Daiso store will be quite large considering it has taken up two restaurant units.
All that’s left now is wait for Daiso Singapore’s announcement on the official opening date. In the meantime, the nearest Daiso store for Woodlands residents is located at Sembawang Shopping Centre.
Update: Daiso Singapore has announced they will be opening the new outlet in Woodlands Civic Centre on 10 October 2023.
