Heads up, Pokémon trainers in Singapore – McDonald’s will be releasing the much-anticipated trading card game (TCG) this week.
Pokémon Match Battle Happy Meals
For a limited time starting from 26 October (Thu), customers who purchase a Happy Meal will have a chance to collect the official Pokémon Match Battle trading cards.
It will also come with a card flip coin and instructions, everything you need to start battling immediately.
The items and food will also be packaged in an adorable Pikachu Happy Meal box.
Here’s how it looks like.
According to McDonald’s Singapore, there will be 10 types of Pokémon Match Battle games up for grabs.
Here’s the schedule:
- 26 Oct – 1 Nov: Pikachu A and Cetitan B
- 2 – 8 Nov: Sprigatito A and Quaxly B
- 9 – 15 Nov: Cetitan A and Pikachu B
- 16 – 22 Nov: Fuecoco A and Sprigatito B
- 23 – 29 Nov: Quaxly A and Fuecoco B
Each Happy Meal Match Battle box comes with the following items:
- 4 x game cards in a pack
- 1 x flip coin
- 1 x instructions
Fans will be able to collect a total of 15 special Pokémon TCG cards.

There’s also a Pokémon TCG tutorial video to learn the basics if you have no idea how to start playing them, especially if you have little ones trying to figure it out.
New game cards will debut every Thursday from 11am for five consecutive weeks and will be available across all McDonald’s restaurants islandwide, via McDelivery and food delivery platforms GrabFood and foodpanda, while stocks last.
