Apple launches the new iPad Air with an M2 chip and the iPad Pro with an all-new M4 chip
Apple has just announced new iPads to their line-up including new iPad Air and iPad Pro models.
iPad Pro with M4 Chip
The latest iPad Pro models boast a stunningly thin and light design available in silver and space black finishes. These models come in two sizes, a 13-inch model, and an 11-inch model, both featuring the world’s most advanced display – the Ultra Retina XDR display with tandem OLED technology, delivering an exceptional visual experience.
Key to the new iPad Pro’s capabilities is the M4 chip, Apple’s next-generation silicon offering a significant leap in performance and capabilities. The M4 chip features an entirely new display engine to support the precision, colour, and brightness of the Ultra Retina XDR display. It also introduces a new CPU, a next-generation GPU, and the most powerful Neural Engine yet, making it an incredibly powerful device for artificial intelligence tasks.
Apple Pencil Pro
The iPad Pro experience is further enhanced with new accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro (available for S$199), offering powerful new interactions and a natural writing and drawing experience. Apple has also announced redesigned 11-inch and all-new 13-inch iPad Air models powered by the M2 chip. Available in two sizes for the first time, the 11-inch iPad Air is ultra-portable, while the 13-inch model offers a larger display for increased productivity and entertainment. Both models boast exceptional performance and advanced features, thanks to the M2 chip, making them versatile and powerful devices.
The iPad Air features a portable design, long battery life, a stunning Liquid Retina display, and compatibility with Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Magic Keyboard, catering to productivity and creativity. It comes in new blue and purple finishes, in addition to starlight and space grey. Pricing starts at S$899 for the 11-inch model and S$1,199 for the 13-inch model, with orders open today and availability from May 15.
